🎃🧡 Pumpkin season is in full swing! ☀️

From 2 to 31 October 2026, our Little Pumpkin World opens its doors at our Deinste farm shop, Im Mühlenfeld 1! Look forward to colourful pumpkins for sale, our usual farm shop range and fun pumpkin mini-games like tic-tac-toe or pumpkin carving for young and old.

We’re open every Friday to Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00. We’re truly looking forward to lots of lovely encounters, cosy autumn hours and, of course, your visit to our farm!

5.5 km relay run for young and old, families and companies

Year after year, a total of 245 teams of five runners each line up for our famous – some would say infamous – asparagus run in Deinste. When the starting gun fires, all runners set off on the 5.5 km course right through the middle of the Deinste asparagus fields.

What makes it special: an asparagus spear as the relay baton. Our asparagus run is made for every fitness level. Whether you’re a beginner, a couch potato or a seasoned runner, you can walk, power-walk or run the course. All that counts is having fun. Ready, set, go – will you be joining us this year?

Eine Gruppe von fünf Läufern in sportlicher Kleidung nimmt an einem Wettlauf teil. Sie tragen nummerierte Startnummern und lächeln während sie die Strecke entlanglaufen. Im Hintergrund sind Zuschauer zu sehen, die die Teilnehmer anfeuern. Die Atmosphäre ist lebhaft und freundlich, was die Freude am Sport und der Gemeinschaft widerspiegelt.

Fun run – winning team drawn by lot

Fun definitely comes first at our Asparagus Run! That’s why the fastest team doesn’t win – instead, we draw the winning team by lot. When you register, you’re automatically entered into the draw.

If you’re lucky enough to be drawn by our Asparagus Queen, you and your teammates step onto our big scales. You win your team’s combined weight in asparagus, potatoes, ham and strawberries. We also draw one youth team from the pot to win our youth prize.

Programme

Culinary mile – tasty treats and cool drinks

From fried asparagus and grilled specialities to coffee and cake, fresh popcorn from the popcorn machine, cheese and strawberry skewers or treats from Nudellei Werner, there’s plenty of delicious hot and cold food.

For a well-deserved cool-down, enjoy cold draught beer, wine, sparkling wine with strawberries, a caipirinha from our cocktail bar and lots of other drinks.

Eine rot dekorierte Getränkebar mit Sektgläsern, gefüllt mit frischen Erdbeeren, die auf einem Tisch angeordnet sind. Im Hintergrund sind Hände zu sehen, die eine Bestellung aufgeben, während Flaschen alkoholischer Getränke bereitstehen. Die Szene vermittelt eine festliche Atmosphäre, ideal für Veranstaltungen oder Feiern.
Ein belebtes Fest mit einer großen, aufblasbaren Hüpfburg im Hintergrund, umgeben von Menschen unterschiedlichen Alters, die Spaß haben und sich unterhalten. Die Hüpfburg ist rot und schwarz, mit einem großen Netz, das den Blick auf die spielenden Kinder im Inneren freigibt. Die Szene vermittelt eine fröhliche Atmosphäre und zeigt, wie Familien und Freunde gemeinsam Zeit im Freien verbringen.

Bouncy castle & more for the whole family

Fun is a top priority away from the course, too! There’s lots to discover. For our youngest guests, we set up a big bouncy castle, a colouring corner and other hands-on activities. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can dance the night away at the after-show party with a DJ.
