Year after year, a total of 245 teams of five runners each line up for our famous \u2013 some would say infamous \u2013 asparagus run in Deinste. When the starting gun fires, all runners set off on the 5.5 km course right through the middle of the Deinste asparagus fields. <\/p>

What makes it special: an asparagus spear as the relay baton. Our asparagus run is made for every fitness level. Whether you\u2019re a beginner, a couch potato or a seasoned runner, you can walk, power-walk or run the course. All that counts is having fun.
